The round tables that form this network are looking at particular
Agenda
21 issues, eg. waste minimisation, transport, conservation and
biodiversity,
education and awareness raising, land use and planning. Please contact

by email or phone if you are interested in becoming involved in any of
these groups or with the activities and meetings that arise from them.
2. BDEF (Bucks
Development Education Forum)
BDEF is a non-constituted forum, of groups and individuals brought
together
to increase knowledge and interest in development issues both locally
and
globally.
The group actively seeks members who broadly support BDEF’s aims and
objectives and who can:
* publicise each other’s work and activities wherever possible
* learn from one another about strategies and activities for

BDEF provides a forum for any individuals or organisations who carry
out
Development Education type work in Buckinghamshire to share their ideas
and experience on Global Education topics. Current members include
Oxfam,
Christian Aid, Development Education Centres, WEA, MKCVO, Environmental
Co-ordinators, Christian Concern for One World, Save the Children, Global
Centre Milton Keynes, Action Aid, Co-operative Movement, United
Nations
Association, GrassRoots, UNICEF, Christian Concern for One World.
3. LaSER - GD
(London and South-east Regions - Global Dimension)
This consortium has been developed as a response to an initiative from
DFID (Department for International Development) that aims to enable
effective support between the organisations working for a Global
Dimension. LaSER-GD short for London and South East Regions - Global
Dimension forms the consortium for the governmental region that ADEC
and Buckinghamshire are part of. The consortium is co-ordinating and
promoting support and exchange between the different members to enhance
and increase the Global Dimension in schools.

The website provides a platform for teachers and other educators to
build a learning community for the global dimension. It offers the
possibility to find out about resources, get inspiration and ask
anything related to global dimension.
