Formed in 1988, ADEC's mission is
to promote Development
Education within the Aylesbury Vale community. ADEC's overall aim is to
encourage Aylesbury Vale citizens to be global citizens and to:
- deepen understanding of inter-dependence and connections around
the world; encourage greater awareness of individual and community
responsibility
- campaign for for positive action for justice, peace and
sustainability
- encourage development education practice and resources in schools
and groups
- support co-operation and closer working between schools and
community
